Toggling

Toggling lets you switch quickly and easily among images that you have created. For example, if you've made a contour map of the normal temperature on top of an El Niño temperature contour map, toggling lets you look at the maps separately and switch between them very quickly. This is helpful when it's hard to distinguish between multiple maps. Toggling works for any images that you create, not just contour maps.

How to toggle

  1. Click anywhere on the image that you have created.

  2. Press the number keys (1, 2, 3...) to turn on one image and turn off all others. The numbers correspond to the order in which the images were made. For example, if you've made three images and press the 2 key, the second image will appear and the others will become invisible.

  3. You can also cycle through the images using the F1 Key.

  4. Once you have used the number keys to toggle, you must click Displays and the map you want made visible to display two maps simultaneously.
